Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG). Once upon a time, I was an avid gamer...

Now, everything is just history. An end to my entire MMO gaming adventures (circa 2018)...

My Top tier list:

The best overall MMORPG ever in my list. My first 'true' experience in an MMORPG. I miss healing people with my Monk... or solo '55' Monk!

My most emotional-attached game. Hearing 'RO' simply brings a mixture of warmth and sadness (realizing that I'm no longer young). Might be my best classical MMO-game ever if not for the bots and server closures. Spent hundreds of RM in this game >.<" Sayonara my Assassin & Assassin Cross.

Sweet bitter memories. This was a truly amazing game. Sail a ship? Non-instance housing? PVP? Underwater combat? Gliding? Mount? Combos? Steal from people? Mixed classes? All check and even more! Goodbye my Daggerspell...

I loved this game for a time. Played as a Priest. Instanced based game but I had fun guildmates and man, were there so many Pinoy players around! They taught me how to swear in Tagalog!

Triple AAA game. Should be in the list of any MMO gamer. My Guardian's armor was soooo cool!

A surprisingly great game for its time. I had an absolute blast! PK (yeah, I was blood red). Flying. Dungeons. Vending. GVG. Mount. Cash shop (d*mn, I spent hundreds of RM!). Crafting. But life happens and I had to quit.

The Second tier list:

I was once one of the top 2 armor crafters in my server. No kidding! This game taught me how to be a real 'tank', holding agro and teamwork! Cool game while it lasted.

An interesting game. Post apocalyptic survival game. It has the Fallout vibe. You have to craft everything from guns, armors to cars. Sadly the combat was lacking and the progress was too slow for my liking.

I pretty much solo'ed everything. Had a lot of fun but nothing to cling on after hitting almost max level.

Dragon Raja Online. An old classic game. I got hooked for awhile until I realized it was too difficult to catch up to the veteran players.

I liked this game. Joined the horde of crowds during the official launch. Trading and robbing people was kinda fun for awhile. The combat was also kinda fun but too static. Didn't last long here.

A browser-based game. I liked it until it was too overwhelming to keep up with the number of villages and 24/7 combat. Good memories. Managed to stay top 10 ranking during my hardcore days.

Another browser-based game. Unique and had fun but the constant 24/7 gameplay was too much for me.

Had a lot of fun during launch but it waned pretty fast. PVP-oriented. Cool faction versus faction.

The Third tier list:

Subscribed twice but never lasted 2 weeks in each occasion (subscription was per month). This game was too slow for me, like seriously slooowwwwww. I literally fell asleep going from point A to B in mostly empty space!

The original one (not Unchained). I got bored after a month in. Over-hyped IMO.

I joined pretty late when the population was already low. Quickly got bored of this.

Fungwan = Storm Riders = Pedang Setiawan (from comic to game). Pretty interesting but I had lousy internet connections and could not play this game that much back then.

Kinda bland. Stayed awhile and left for another game.

Pretty interesting (I liked that sliding-attack-animation-to dodge-attacks!), until I got bored of the grind.

The MMO version. It just didn't 'click' for me.

Not bad. Suitable for younger gamers and I did not wish to pay to continue playing.

The Forgettable list:

  1. Allods Online. Supposedly a WoW clone by a Russian company (I think? DKDC anymore...). Just dull.
  2. Anarchy Online. Yes, forgettable.
  3. Final Fantasy whichever version it was. This is a disservice for the franchise but I was never an FF fan and by the time I tried FF, I had already lost the 'gamer' flame in me...
  4. Hellgate: London. Over-hyped. Lost interest within weeks. Lacked of depth and content.
  5. Cabal Online. I think so. Barely remember anything about this game.
  6. Last Chaos. Urgh. Nothing worth saying about this game.
  7. Nostale. I'm pretty sure I played this game at one stage of my life...
  8. Phantasy Star Online. Boring.
  9. Priston Tale. Nah.
  10. Rappelz. Nah.
  11. Rift. I did play this game, right? Can't recall much.
  12. ROSE Online. A huge disappointment.
  13. Tree of Savior. Meh.
  14. Tabula Rasa. Another huge disappointment.
  15. WildStar. Barely remember this anymore.
  16. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Um no.
  17. ArchLord. Didn't last long here but had some unique features.
