Science & Technology, Engineering & Economy

Science & Technology

  • Cold Fusion. The Best Technology & Business Content Creator Ever. I kid you not, ColdFusion's content quality is superb and he did it mostly on his own (AFAIK). What an awesome guy.
  • Veritasium. That's right, be amazed by how smart he is. A remarkable science content creator and educator.
  • Two Minute Papers. If you don't mind the accent and quirky (actually, more like cringe-worthy) way of speaking, this is a very good channel to keep updated on computer science, particularly in AI and graphics.
  • The Map of Physics. The first video I watched from Dr Dominic Walliman (Domain of Science) and I knew he was going to follow up with more amazing videos!
  • The Map of Mathematics. Yes, I know. I could have just linked Domain of Science here but Dr Dominic only posted videos like 3 times per year. So I'd rather picked the ones I would find most useful to engineering students.
  • The Science Asylum. If you are interested in physics (or how the universe works), then this is for you!

Engineering

  • Essays on Semiconductor and Engineering Companies. Asianometry covers a lot of histories related to technology, but if you are interested in semiconductors, you cannot miss his in-depth essays (albeit usually a bit long and.... dry, but worth it!)
  • The Map of Engineering. Finally, someone made this! Another great map by Domain Of Science (Dr Dominic Walliman).
  • Practical Engineering. A great channel on Civil Engineering and everyday engineering wonder that makes the world works as it is.

Economy

  • Understanding Modern World Economy. Explained by Ray Dalio, a prominent and wise investor.
  • Alux. Get smart and get rich (if that's what you want).
  • The Plain Bagel. Honest views on stock market jargons and stuff. Stop listening to fake stock gurus and scammers!
  • The Swedish Investor. If you are interested in investing as a value investor (long-term), then this guy have read all those investing books and summarized them for you!

My Published Manuscripts

I recommend ConnectedPapers for you to visually keep track of your references and Mendeley for your citation needs.

(Incomplete list- ongoing)

Unpublished Manuscripts

Write up I've abandoned due to numerous reasons (mostly due to lack of depth, quickly being obsolete or I just got lazy =p). Maybe these could help someone out there? I would appreciate if you could notify me at saladinion1@gmail.com if you wish to use any of these in your work. It will make me happy!

p/s: I only select content creator or websites that provide top quality content (I have to be picky). If you know any amazing sources, drop me an email at saladinion1@gmail.com and maybe (sorry, I can't promise!) I can put them in my list above. Everyone should have access to great learning materials! Get smart by learning something new everyday!
